We all need some fun in our lives. And you guessed it! The Rhythm Junkies is my fix o' fun.

I started out playing trumpet at Catholic Community Middle School in Baltimore, Maryland. My mother forced me into taking up an instrument, I really wasn't that interested. Thanks Mom. Anyway, I fell in love with music, my first love. Played trumpet in high school and college. But when I had the chance to sing in a rock n' roll band in high school, that's when everything changed. The band, liked my singing, but wished that I played an instrument. They weren't too keen on my Herb Alpert thang so I was encouraged to play keys. I didn't know how, but soon asked for a synthesizer for Christmas when I was 16. There it was on the 25th - a Roland alpha Juno 2 synth-in all its analog glory. So once I got it, I figured out how to play a song or two, and joined that band. Played with them all through high school, college and even after that. Then I moved to Minnesota and did a couple different things musically and ended up with The Rhythm Junkies. I should say they ended up with me. Music is still a love of mine. And these crazy folks are all my friends. Some of us work day jobs together as well. We like to have fun, funk out and mostly laugh at ourselves. We hope you like the same and will come out and laugh with us or at the very least at us.
