 Shalo Lee
-Vocals & Percussion


Shalo Lee, originally from rural River Falls, WI has been singing with gusto since her older sister taught her to sing at 18 months. She continued to sing, act and play flute though high school, winning repeated state honors for vocal performance, as well as sweeping top awards local talent shows and winning the crown of Miss River Falls 1997-1998.

While persuing her undergrad at UW Stout, she was a frequent soloist in the select Vocal Jazz ensemble for 2 years.

In 2001 she auditioned and was hired to sing on the Mickey Gilley stage in Branson, MO, performing with acclaimed country singer/ song writer Jim Owen doing Patsy Cline Cameos and backup.

After a near fatal car wreck in 2002 in Tampa, FL, she moved home to recover, but continued to sing, winning the 2003 Colgate Country Showdown at the regional level in La Crosse, WI. She has since fronted several country, rock and blues bands, opening up for the likes of Hal Ketchum, the Marshall Tucker Band, Pure Prairie League, and Ambrosia.

Her latest projects include writing her first solo album as well as performing with her two bands, The Rhythm Junkies and her own acoustic group, Shalo Lee and the Guitar Daddies, which includes MMA lifetime achievement award winner Dave Rodriguez, and Mark Johnson on bass from the Corey Stevens Band.
